When it comes to cooling, has anyone tried a exterior below the trunk mount,Iam curious ,if it would work,Ive never seen any discussion's about it...???? FM
There's no room under the front trunk and no air flow under the rear trunk.
Robert placed it under the engine lid.

Car has two trunks...which one are you talking about?
Surely not the front one, cause you'd rip that sucker off right away....
rear would be tough unless you had some custom ones made and then figured how to get air in and air out.
In racing form, we used a 3*10 inch oil cooler strapped to the bottom of the engine bar with a little scoop under it to catch a bit more air.
Racing has no potholes like the street, so keep that in mind.
It was plumbed with a sandwich plate at the filter and worked perfectly fine for that application.
Others have put oil coolers next to the tranny, up high, with fans to draw in air and while I have never tried that, the people that have seem to still be using them, so they must do at least as much as the little one we used.
