914World.com _ 914World Garage _ POR-15 Help

Hi just wondering if anyone has ever had POR-15 paint primer bubbles after drying on the surface?

I had some bubbling as I applied it but i thought I had brushed most of them out. Is this normal? Or should I be thinking about starting from scratch again?

i think that means your are putting it on too thick and when you stir it you are whipping air in to it

Are you stirring it or shaking it prior to painting? Best way is to stir gently. I have sometimes noticed very small bubbles when using POR15 but they always seem to disappear when dry.

I stired it using a stick and I didn't shake it but I guess I'll be more careful with it. I'm thinking of trying a foam brush next time.

How cold was it when you applied it? Too cold and the paint wont flow out. i think the foam brush will give you even more bubbles than a regular brush?
