Well when the whole "4" thing went down, I learned that alot of bad information was being posted on the Yahoo Groups 914 site, so being a good citizen I enrolled in this group and tried to post to add to the discussion. Guess what, none of my "posts" have ever actually been posted. Seems the "owner" must read and approve all posts before they are sent out to the "members." So, since some of you guys also post there, who is the "owner" and why does "he" censor all views other than the wrong crap about "4."?

owner is Dennis Leeds(???) or something like that...not sure why your posts are not showing up...maybe he has to approve the 1st couple of posts and felt yours did not meet his criteria....try posting something technical about 914s 1st???

Same thing happened to me.

I questioned his poll about reviving the 914 OA "festivals"... and strangely, that didn't show up either.

I noticed that my last post never made it either.

My last post there was in response to their poll about having a 914 event. I posted about the WCC and linked 914world.com. No wonder it never made it .

He banned me AFTER I complained that my 'membership' in his little organization had taken effect AFTER he had my money for 3 MONTHS.

Lame-O, Lame-O. You gotta wonder about the regulars there because sOOO much more info, and pictures, etc. is here. Guys, this whole "4" thing got me going so much, next week my car is going into paint FINALLY after 2 years, I'm taking all my suspension parts for powder coating at the same time, and Len Hoffman has my 2.0 heads for work, I just bought the L&N ceramic lifters, (sorry about the Raby connecting rods) and I am on a mission from god to have this 30 year old car back on the road this summer.

Last week I posted the whole year's calendar of events as a post...including the 3 classics, 2 rambles and Tweeks funfest...that didn't make it as well...I can tell he really cares about the 914 Community. What a weasel dick.

I thought Dennis was dead. We have tried and tried to include him on "club" activities, but he chose to ignore us. I truelly question his dedication to the 914. Our "collector" was posting over there quite a bit it seams. Another one of my "close friends" George Petry seems to have a bone to pick with me over there also ?? Not sure what I did to him (other than calling some of his 914's he had for sale) PIECES OF SHIT

Oh.. I'm also looking for a Scott Armstrong ?? anyone ??

Hot damn, Brad is in the house. Glad to see and hear from you. Those guys have been bad mouthing you something terrible and when I "posted" a couple of things to point out that something wasn't right with the story, suddenly, nothing is allowed up. Well, so much for the 914 community over there. Must of those guys seem to be pretty much in the dark, and oh, if you mention the 914world.com site, it makes them crazy

Petri admitted he was a cop on the list. The collector guy does not make any sense and i would think he was a cop too. I have kept every digest from that group for the past couple years, and all the digests from Rennlist since 1997, did a search on his username in my mail file and came up with 2 - the only two posts he made about #4

I agree with this, only because the Yahoo Club sites takes soooooooo long to post a message once it has been submitted. it's really annoying.

On the other hand, I think our Colorado 914 Yahoo club is a pretty cool group of guys. (At least until i finally get a chance to meet any of them )

I'm old. I'm an idiot, I've been a 914 junkie longer than most of you have been on this earth. I don't Yahoo. I don't surf the web. I belong to no other online "clubs". This is the only web site I visit (except for my monthly visit to my porn site, and no, you can't have my password Brad! ). 914world.com is without a doubt the total schiznitz(whatever that means?). Who gives a rats ass what the Yahoo 914 group thinks, says, or does?

I got the 914OA newsletter for a couple of years back in the mid 80s. As bad as it was it was the only 914 club I knew about then.

I must be able to post since I joined that yahoo group when it was formed years ago. Still get the digest everyday but its the usual stuff about timing, djet, or brake problems. DD answers questions there alot and I'll poke a few about Djet.

The a914collector posts were out of bounds IMHO, same with Petri who didn't respond to direct emails.

I assumed that Brad pissed off a few people so they hang out there to avoid Brad. I don't know why they don't come over here to the this BBS other than Miles is here also.

I have never noticed my posts being edited..

I have a question, what is a914collectors name??? Should be on the court papers...so its public.

Funny.. I just recalled my dealings with George. I F-ing helped him sell a car... I picked the car up from him so he didnt have to store it any longer... I pushed another tub he had for sale. This is the thanks I get for "helping" yet ANOTHER 914 person out. I trailered the car to Texas for Rich Johnson.. Amazing that you can help someone sell cars/parts and he turns on you.
