914World.com _ 914World Garage _ coil overs, what works?

Posted by: startsw/p Mar 18 2005, 02:41 PM

Hi guys! Saw These on ebay and was doing a little research... then decided it would take less time to just ask, who's using em, and what works. I had Bilsteins with 140lb weltmeisters on my last 914/4, so now what should I use with the heavier 6? wacko.gif

I have a set of bilsteins that are in my passat G60 syncro, that my wife wrecked, and I was just trying to find out if I could add the sleeves (about $40) and the springs($??). Problem is that you need a helper spring so that once the suspension is at full droop (like if you launch it, or hoist it) the springs don't fall out of the perches. I just wondered if anybody found a good streetable/weekend track setup that I could copy. The guy on ebay just got the wheels turning is all... he's out to lunch on his pricing. That starting bid must cost a fortune. headbang.gif
