on my 73 2.o with weber 34,can i use a clear plastic inline filter or stick with stock filter that came with fi.

I just use a generic in line fuel filter from any local auto parts store. Works fine. Not sure with the low pressure with carbs the FI filter will work.

I like the cheap inline ones that I can see up in the engine bay...
Also one before the pump.

I went with a re-usable one from summit because I had lots of rust in my replacement tank....it's simple to open and clean, I put shut offs on either side of it...

i too have thought that with low pressure fi filter will not work,in fact it didnt.

By 'will not work', what do you mean? I run one with carbs that has the same size nipples and it functions just fine. Single tangerine supply, no return and the same size modern fuel line from tank outlet to the 'second' weber.
