Can a paint color be duplicated i powder coat ? Going to install 911 flag mirrors shortly and was going to paint them the car color, copperflint. Friend said that a powedercoated mirror would last longer ? Is there anything to this ?

Most powder coaters can custom mix fora n additional charge.

Honestly, powdercoat might be to brittle for a mirror, I'd be afraid that it would chip even easier than regular paint.

As far as I know, powdercoating is hand mixed where as paint can be computer matched. Powerdercoat first, then match the paint second. But, color matching a metallic powdercoat will not work out.

Paint them to match, then get some of that clear stone-guard plastic sheet and apply to the forward facing surface.
