I have seen both red and black torsion bars but I have never seen a car with 1 of each.
One end of each bar should be stamped with an L or an R to indicate which side of the car they belong on. When new they are identical (L and R) and could be installed in either side but once they are used they take a set or a twist and from then on they need to be used on the same side.
Measure the diameter and count the splines to make sure they are the same.
911 and 914 t-bars have a different spline count but externally the control arms look the same and someone could have replaced a damaged 914 arm with a used 911 arm.
Most aftermarket bars are white or bare metal, at least the ones I have seen.
