I've had my car for 19 years and finally built up enough courage to pull the rocker covers and take a look. I thought I would be ok and wasn't disappointed, other than rust spot on the bottom of the jack posts I'm good. I poked around with a screw driver and it seems solid underneath. I'm now having a celebration beer and doing a happy dance!

About five pounds of sand and dirt came out with mine when I finnally pulled em.

Awesome. Gonna take mine off this weekend. Already know it will be bad. Bouncing passenger rear suspension from just behind the door handle area changes the top door gap.
