One thing I've always wondered about is how do you V8 guys
keep from boiling your gasoline? Or at least heating it up to 180 degrees?

Is there enough cooling to keep the heat away from the gastank?
Just curious.

Great job 1bad914! Let us know how it performs.

On the gas tank question, the air temps never get that hot. There's enough air movement (or should be) to ventilate the heat out of the trunk and the heat rise on the tank does not seem to be significant. The problems I had were the carb getting too hot when not moving, as there's no airflow over the engine to keep it cool. A carb spacer and header wrap took care of that, probably the spacer is enough.

Thanks Guy! I hope it works as well as I think it will. The entire rad setup is out of an 87 vette. I started the engine assembly today, should finish it in a day or so.

I have a high pressure fuel pump running the CIS injection. It recycles the gas. It stays pretty cool.
