Do they come off counter clockwise?

Also how much are they torqued?

Counter clockwise and 80 ft. lbs. is spec. If they have been ground down it can be a bitch. Mine were and I ended up using and impact gun.

You either need to brace the flywheel or use an air tool....

they could have Loc-tite on them......if so, bring out the heat smash.gif

Thank you, thank you.

It's off. No lock-tite, but it must have been torqued much higher than 80lbs as I broke a socket.

As far as holding the flywheel, I used lock pliers against one of the bigger bolts out of the case as a stop, with a rag in between.
