He might have a shipping problem for most of us....
It depresses me seeing these
Jeez what a waste. What's the story?
The story? If I pay shipping, that guy has a space for my car.

Damn I wish I had access to that yard. There's alot of stuff that looks pretty good.
Look at this fender, it looks pretty nice:
Or this dash:
Wow! Those look just like midwest 914s.
The ammount of rust on those things remind me of home.

The blue flared car looks to have steel flares and had a 6 oil tank.... I wonder what the history behind that car is.... How sad!
What's the big deal? Just computer generated pictures. Just remember for every one car saved, 100 bite it....
where's the weeping smiley? that place makes baby jesus cry.
Most of the stuff that looks 'useable' is fairly inexpensive... that dash pic is misleading... look at the sag in the middle...
Euro signal lenses (front) are cheap..
NOTHING TO SEE HERE PEOPLE, MOVE ALONG.

I agree. How about a set of Euro spec turn signals? |
Come on... if there is one latch in that bunch that will last longer than the broke one you got already...
How many tops does one need?

The windshields are worth something.
Hello Gustl,
thanks. Well...I am the guy who took these photos. Sometimes I look at the yard, where I made the photos and then I always have to take photos of the cars. My father often bought parts there for his 75' 914, ten years ago.
Have fun
Sebastian

So what was the original paint color for the blue one??
White, Red, Blue, Yellow, rust...........
That is some serious rust on some of those.
Looks familiar. There is a fellow in my area with over 50 rusted out hulks of 914s in his yard. All sorry busted ass cars with weeds growing through them. He has a few prime restoration worthy cars he keeps in a barn but they are practically all chrome yellow. He has a parts business but hasn't hit the internet yet. Best way to deal with him is walk in, find the part you need and make a cash deal (don't bring too much cash) Otherwise he is opening up the Porsche parts pricing and saying "weeellllll, brand new from Porsche this part is 8 million dollars".

Hey sebastian.
My father sent me this from Germany last week. Any of it sound farmiliar?
"On to Lake Titisee by way of Austria, Leichenstein and Zurich, Switzerland. It was a full days job and arriving in Titisee we found our reservation to be a quaint B&B complete with indoor pool, steam bath and sauna. Unfortunately none of us had a bathing suit. The lake is a small one, but as our landlord described it, romantic. We managed to get some pictures which I hope show reflections in the very calm surface. The town was small, and very tourist oriented....lots of little shops featuring local produce.cuckoo clocks and nicnacs. For me,breakfast was a grand event...European syle with fruit, breads, cheese, meats, cereals and great coffee."
Other than Paris, they are having a good time.
Do all the rubber bumper covers pucker like these pictured? What do you do about it? Anyone?
