Two new products finished in one week... whew
This is one idea that started to hit me last year when I took my -6 out for a spin. The pedal went a little further than it was supposed to. It was a semi-panic stop just to see if things were working and the extra pressure did in my master cylinder. A quick check under the mats showed a dripping wet disaster area in the pedal cluster. Paint was flaking, rust was showing and I had brake fluid everywhere. To top it off, my nylon bushings were shot. Time to yank the master cylinder and pedal assembly and perform a full rebuild.
This is where I began thinking, "They don't sell those Bronze Bushing sets for their health so, there must be a lot of others out there in the same boat"
With a pedal assembly torn apart and a box of calipers ready to go to the plater, I put 2+2 together and came up with this. The price is much less than some and slightly more than others. Thanks to "everyone" for your support with the calipers and the 5-lug suspension. This site has been great to me.

those look great eric!!! no more crappy respray black to peel off. i'll check the link now. the cost is more than acceptable imho. i'm sure my extra pedal assembly is in the same box that my fog lights that i can't find are in. fantastic product.

NICE! My monitor is not the best, are the pedals yellowish, or silver? If silver, I may have to get a set.
They are clear zinc which is "Silver" The springs and arms are yellow zinc which is "gold".

see what your plater would charge for windshield and sail panel trim. the silver finnish would be a no brainer if it held up.

Aluminum doesn't plate. They'll polish it for you.

I wish I was a photographer. The picture doesn't do the set justice (if I may say so).
The pins were one of my concerns. It looks as though they've changed the roll pins in the kits (I have an old pin left over from a previous rebuild that I didn't use because of the horror stories). I use the ones that come with the kits now. They're quad rolled and they fit "extremely" tight. 50% of the assembly time was making a jig to press in the new pin.
There are no weak links.
They're the perfect match for one of Mark's (work of art) pedal boards
They are a Spirol pin from Spirol Industries - had a place on my new lawn mower design that I had to use them. Tough stuff.
Do a Google on Spirol Industires. I use the english versions - I am sure they have them in metric as well.

With the Bronze bushings and the Mobil1 synthetic, these things are smooth as silk.
(Any more cores out there? Interest has been very high on these.)
