Just watched the animated movie Robot today.

My hypothesis is that the story is an allegory of us 914 owners.

Basic plot: Automotive industry buying/destroying all of our 914 parts, in an effort to force us to purchase new cars. But the 914 owners are resilient and strong, united in fixing our beloved cars with scarce parts and fabricating new parts - triumphing over evil.

Do you mean "Robots"? The new animated movie with Ewan MacGregor as the voice of the lead, Rodney Copperbottom or what ever his name is?
