Looks great!
One other thing, (always has to have a question in here) What should I use for lug nuts? I have really long studs on the back,
And the stock lugs dont reach, I have 2 lock nuts on, but thats just to hold the wheel on (although with the long studs they dont need that) so they dont dent my dads 951 track car..
Mueller, you said something about useing the stock nuts and just keep tightening them till the tops of them pop off. I just have bad memory, Can you refresh it for me?
Thanks guys
Andrew
Steel nuts or aluminum....for the aluminum ones, I've been told you can just pop the top off by screwing them on if the lug nuts are long enough and you use a deep socket (19mm)
I removed the tops off of mine with a lathe, so I guess I cheated a little
Ehh, I can use a drill ,
Thanks
BTW, thanks for telling me about the heat gun (hair dryer), I thought that a heat gun was something different, I have almost all of it done now, in like 2 hours.
... or you can cut the long studs. Screw first some old nut in the stud. Cut the stud and remove the nut. When you screw the nut out that will open the start of the thread. If not, you have to use small file and do it yourself.
