914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Mallory Unilite question...

Posted by: Mueller Mar 30 2005, 09:33 PM

So McMark thinks the advance is not happening quick enough, upon receiving my Mallory Unilite, all I did was replace one spring inside (red I think) with the recommended gray spring....I "thought" the other spring inside was gray so then I'd have gray/gray combo....now I'm second guessing my springs (at work right now so I cannot check)

thought someone might know smile.gif

thanks

i changed both out. they are not the same as installed

your advance should be done by about 2800 (depending on initial advance at idle
)

i switched both out...mucho more responsive
