Andy mentioned in another trending thread that 914s sold in all non-US markets did not have any Porsche badging or branding. I knew that before I read it, but I guess I never thought until now to wonder what the steering wheel pad would have looked like on non-US cars. Anyone have a picture or description?
Has the Wolfsburg Logo on it.

I've have one...
Drove one with the Wolfsburg crest on it back in late '69- they were opening a new Porsche+Audi dealership in Cedar Rapids IA and needed a euro spec 914 driven from Minneapolis to CR for their grand opening. Their main Porsche mechanic was a good friend of mine so they let this college kid and his gear head friend bring it back to IA.
It also had the VW part of the VW-Porsche insignia on the back covered up... got a picture of it somewhere as I was happy to wear my Porsche+Audi jacket!
(boy, that is making me feel old...)
Wow, up to $167 on eBay... Didn't realize there was such a market
I have one in the attic......
Didn't some of the super Beatles have these?
Should be able to find these pretty easily at the samba.
I don't believe the super beetle horn pad mounted the same way. They had the same overall shape but the mounting was with 4 pin and spring assemblies at the corners of the bat wing. The 914 uses the Porsche twist lock center mount.

Heres a link to the steering wheel I think people are thinking of. Similar but different than our 914 wheels.
The Wolfsburg Logo horn intrigues me.
I searched eBay and elsewhere and can't find info / for sale ones .
Any help or a part number ???
