I noticed that when we were trying to fire my motor on Saturday that my thottle was really stiff. Clayton took a look at the linkage at the throttle body and foung that it was hard to rotate using the cable. I believe it is binding where the shaft goes through the bushing in the housing. Anyone experience this before?

Yeh, and it can be cleaned. If the shaft is bent, ask for a partes usados from the board.

And

Are you sure it is not the cable itself or the linkage at the loud pedal?

Hit the bushings with some WD-40, works everytime.....unless a bent shaft is the cause of the binding.

Damn SLITS....you're a pretty fast typer for an old fart! wink.gif biggrin.gif

Kevin,

I wasn't fast enough to type the suggestion that he send it to you for a pressure wash...you know.....the beer & viagra pressure wash...it should clean anything.

The old phart

EDIT...PS...Allan knows where to get one if he needs it...by the time we settle up, I will be able to pay for the WCC05 day at Willow Springs and Howie will be able to refund everyone's track fees.
