I was just wondering if there is a top I can put over my Ultima Battery? I washed my car today and the water just poured right on top of the battery. Eddy

i think they make slip on covers so cars look period correct instead of high tech, window dressing. do you have a rain tray? keep the spray away from the 2 small, side grills that flank the engine lid as much as you can.

It's sealed Gel Cell....who cares if it gets wet...?

I thought that was the whole purpose of installing one. Never have to worry about getting wet and leaking down into the engine bay.

Same diff...both are sealed gell cells.

So maybe I don't need to worry about the water running through the vents and running on top of the battery? I guess you are right Z, it is sealed after all. Eddy
