Any members at the Parade? PCA posted some videos of today's Concour event, and I didn't see any 914s (or early 911s) in the event. We're they elsewhere or really not represented?
I'm sorry that the shots are so random .
I was shooting what interests me rather than trying to document the event.

Great pics. Sorry I could not make it, just not in the cards this time.

THIS is a hood ornament. (picture is not actual size of item) It's on the Viper green Carrera in the third photo. And many factory race cars.
Can someone please rotate this. It won't stay when I do it.

Who is Kelly?
Great pics, thanks for taking the time to post!
Cool place to have a show. I've only skied down and rode up the hill on my bike.

Rory thanks for posting. What motor is in the back of that silver 356?
[/quote]
4 Cam Carrera .
Of ~18,000 356s produced, only about 1300 cars had 4 cam engines.
Most were in race cars, but some were available in street cars too.
A rebuildable core engine is now over $100,000.00...
In those days 'Carrera' on the back of a 356 really meant something.

I drove up Monday morning for the concour and to see who I could see. Most I haven't seen in 20 years from my days involved with NNJR. Everyone looked the same just older! Cars were great, weather was hot for us at about 90 but top down in the Boxster. It was only an hour and a half away for me on fun roads.

And after another 100k to rebuild it you end up with a 110hp motor that is to finicky to drive,.
