So you guys scared the shit out of me this winter with all your talk of rusty longitudinals (sp?). So tis weekend i yanked off the rocker covers on my car, which has lived all of it's 29 years in Chicago. After clearing out at least 5 pounds of rocks, dirt, and tire marbles, it turns out that miricales can happen. This shot is after washing. I think that i will hit it with some POR 15, and put the rocker covers back on. At least one less thing to worry about!

even better. The drivers side has a rotten 1/4 rear panel, and that is the rust that you see at the top of the long, by the door. The passager side is rust free!
