Just cruising through Ebay and came across this. Lookslike a really good one and the price isn't bad.

There must have been a problem with the deal.
That car sold on eBay two weeks ago.

It looks like a very nice buy, but If I am blind, it did not say a restoration was performed, and they are stating 100% rust free?? Inspect closely before coming to any conclusion. A newb's 2cents.

Ayup. Since he's moved the battery, you'll want a picture of this........the hell hole. Please excuse the pile of crap on the left.

From the ad:
they made 4 lug mahle's and they WERE the lightest wheels porsche offered on a street car.
OK, this is going to get interesting...
The 5-bolt Mahles are made of magnesium. The 4-bolt Mahles are not. The 4-bolt Mahles are cast aluminium.
I believe that the 4-bolt Fuchs weigh less than the 4-bolt Mahles. And, the 5-bolt Mahles weigh the least of them all.
is this true?!!!
AFAIK yes, the previous statement IS true. Mahle manufactured the 5 bolt Mahles (Gas Burners) out of magnesium, and they were VERY light. The four bolt counterpart, which is a totally different wheel, and has never been called the gas burner, was heavier. The fuchs wheels were the lightest wheels offered in the four lug battern. The Mahle 5 bolt was the lightest wheel offered on Porsche.

I feel so humble
JP,
I'd appreciate it if you crop out the P.O.S. motor from future postings...
Especially those beautiful... err... I mean... disgusting looking carb intakes.
And clean up that ugly engine compartment... I think I see a spec of dirt somewhere... nope.. wait. oh that some dirt on my monitor.
nevermind.
