Looking for references, ideally with personal experience, of 914 shops in SF north. Ideally Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino etc. Looking for an experienced shop with people who have good communications skills, do honest work and are timely in their repairs.

Not sure if you're talking body or mechanical work or both, but Rich Bontempi at High Performance House in Redwood City, CA has been around 914s since the start, but that is a bit farther south than your target area.
