This was the blue 914-6 with the 2.4S engine.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2420398733

E-bay removed it for the following reason...

>>Please be advised that the following auction:

2420398733 - Porsche : 914

was ended early by eBay. The auction was ended due to the account suspension of the seller.
All results for this auction are null and void. <<

Anybody know the car or the seller?

Hmmmm...

very odd! his ad actually seemed very up front and honest, unlike 90% of the 914 ads on there.

maybe schill bidding? I don't know. A few of the bids were from new bidders!

Posted by: Aaron Cox Jun 22 2003, 12:15 PM

ebay checks you IP address? so schill bidding from the same address doesnt work.... wink.gif

Posted by: vortrex Jun 22 2003, 12:20 PM

probably on dial-up then, easy to do. geez, I mean if you are going to bid like that just have your friends do it!

I had exchanged e-mails and even a phone call with the seller. chatsmiley.gif
I just spoke with him again and he is as confused as the rest of us as to why the listing was pulled. idea.gif
He said he will have his computer literate wife send me more photos when she returns home. assimilate.gif
I will post the photos here when I get them. cool_shades.gif
Most of the work on the car was done at 'Glen's Porsche' in Pomona. smash.gif
His reserve price was set at $16,000. crest.gif
