i just put one in today. box and tack adapter on the rear of the fire wall near the battery. i wouldn't do that without an opitma. i still have to tidy up the wires. that's a clean install dave. did you just buy a length of wire to run to the trunk? can you show me a picture of the plug end of the wires?

David nice clean install! I like where Trekkor put his and may do the same. I'm keeping the battery in the stock location for now...

Keep them coming!

Thanks!

MJ,

what is that black plate to the right in your trunk? Some kind of filter?

Posted by: Joe Ricard Apr 14 2005, 06:13 AM

Mine is in the same place as JP Stiens. Good choice hasn't gotten wet yet. and it can really rain around here.

oberg oil filter in addtiton to "normal filter. it has a light that if it started to clog it would go on. it could help you save an engine if you were losing bearings ect.

here ya go. wasn't room in the engine bay in any of the 'conventional' locations, all of which get hot and wet anyway. so it's mounted on the left side interior panel. since it's a Targa, it only gets wet in this location...

as you can see - some of the installation is in 'prototype' trim...
