Posted by: Gearren Apr 13 2005, 06:41 PM

I have a 73 2.0 with webbers, and I have been using the middle grade gas, but does it make a difference which grade i use with the rising gas prices?

stock internals? if so, you should be able to get away with low grade fuel. just try a tank and see if you get engine *knock* ...

if not, you're fine ...

check your timing, and your spark plug heat range.
dribbly injectors won't help.
and maybe find a better class of gas station ? confused24.gif

Run premium. your plugs won't get burned up, your engine will run smoother and the milage will be better in the long run.
