914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Aftermarket distributor

After admiring all the 914s at cars and coffee I noticed a couple cars running the Malory dizzy unit. I've been looking into them and since they're discontinued I can't find any new literature on what is new.
What are you using and why is it better then that guys?

I have been using this one for about 5 years. The cooling tin had to be "massaged" a little to make it fit. It's a bit larger in diameter. I have had NO problems with it at all.

CB Performance sells MagnaSpark centrifugal Distributors and Digital (fully programmable) distributor.

I have the digital (programmable) one and it works great. Of course you may have to modify the engine tin on a stock engine.

I was pondering this one. 123 ignitions form Europe.
Not cheap but plug and play, fully programmable.

There is a German You Tube video of an impressive 2.0 using this.

These are all for folks with carbs or non-stock FI, right?

Did you have to use any sort of inline module to keep the rpm gauge working? I was reading that the rpm gauge doesn't register multi spark systems?

I just installed a 123Ignition distributor on a car. Really liked the quality of the build. This one was the Bluetooth unit that you can tune from your phone. Haven't run the car yet, but will next weekend. wink.gif
