Yes , another "help me not make a mistake when I do this " thread.
Going to be very busy tearing down the car for paint tomorrow which will include removal of the rear window as well as the front.
It's in there pretty good I think. Just need to know if there are helpful hints on how to do this with out breaking anything-

Make sure the window isn't falling out by itself.
Take all the trim off the inside of the window.
If the seal is original, it should pop out with a push. If not, you need to thread a wire or lever a compromise in the seal.
A second person should catch the glass unless you want it to drop and potentially break.

you probably want to replace the seal between the rear window and the metal of the engine access, also 3M make s a product which provides a seal between the body and the window. This basically holds the window in place, once you remove the roll bar padding.
