Browsing Ebay today and I find this car. For obvious reasons I have to look. It claims he has a corvette motor and corvette transmission. So, I am thinking he didnt build the car and really has no clue what is in it. What do you think? Can a GM trans be put in a 914?

with the right modifications, which would be alot, it could probably work.

Vair gearbox.
I thought it took a pretty tight shroud to keep these things cool?
Early 60-65 Muncie 4spd weak
Late66-69 Saginaw 4spdstrong
R E Gearing 3.27-3.55-3.89 All would need 4 spider gear upgrade.
Heavy Cast Iron
