Many of the original GTs were presented in 2 tone color schemes.
Here's an example of a recent car doen that way: black bonnet and rear lid.
Has anyone else here done similar? Photos please!? (especially cars where black is not the second color)
My old race car.
Any more?
I know it's not done often nowadays, but many of the original GTs sported the look:
Sorry I'm afraid that was the only one. The ones above and below were all photochopped. Especially the creamsicles, the original two tone frauds.
I was experimenting with wrap and DIY but the fenders were too much so I plasti-dipped until I got the entire car wrapped. This was a temporary look.
The 'BB' is 2-tone during the summer months
Doesn't count, Dave ... that's THREE-tone
LOL. Okay, how about this one:
Any idea what wheels those are?
Thanks, Rob. They look different when captured in motion.
Aren't all stock cars two tone cars? Black at the rockers, sails and roof, difference color elsewhere?

Oh, very nice. I like that Max Moritz one.
Yes, I guess the 914 is 2 tone as standard, but you know what I mean really.
Keep em coming... my car will be getting paint in 2 - 3 months, I'm still toying with options...
Brian Johnson Of AC/DC's 914 - his wife races it most of the time!
Two Tone?
Joe O'Brien's old 914 RS had carbon fiber deck lids unpainted, which I thought looked bad ass!
Or just powder coat the wheels...
I like this one...you don't see the Rothmans livery on a 914 - at least I haven't.
