Sorry to bug you guys some more but, I did the compression check wrong. I didn't have the throttle wide open. Here's the new results.

The Haynes manual states that the normal range for compression pressure for a 2.0 is between 120 and 156 lb/in^2 with a maximum permissible difference of 21 lb/in^2, so you're just within the limits for the latter.
now do the leakdown. are you running syn oil? i'm about the last person to give advice these days. how much oil does the car go through? new plugs are cheap too.
