Hi

I am having trouble finding the retaining part that holds the fog light trim on to the light.

Part 47 on attached 914 631 961 10

I am also not 100% sure that it's not part 46 which is 914 631 924 10

Anyone know where to get these ?

Right now, only available as a used part. Try classifieds.
I'd bet Bruce Stone or Brad Mayer at 914LTD would have these.

Piece #46 is literally a piece of wire bent into a specific shape. Hopefully not hard to replicate if you have a pattern to follow.

Piece #47 is a flat piece of metal with a bend in it, and possibly narrower at one end? It basically levers against the inside of the outer trim ring to hold it and the lens on. If you have one for a pattern, it should also not be that hard to replicate.

I'd be tempted to just go with the Pilot fog lights, myself.

What you are missing on both 46 and 47 is these are not just pieces of metal. They are infact springs. One loads the housing into the ring under ennsion (several clips). The other inserts in and puts a load on the inside of the retaining ring. We have blanked and made tooling to do these. Just need to find time to rund, and temper a few natches.

So yes underway, but a few weeks out.

I'm struggeling the same issue as simonjb did a few month ago. I need a few pcs. (2-3) fog light retainer springs. OEM PN#: 914 631 961 10
Do have some of you hided it in garage? I would be thankful for it!
