We have been right for years!

Let's take a Cayman chassis and slap 911 body work on it because we have to have a "911". poke.gif

It is also a 4.0L engine.

Should I get a license plate that says "914RSR"?

Didn't they do this to allow for the rear diffuser giving the car more underbody downforce?

I am sure it had many benefits, I'm sure the overall balance of the car is much better.

Finally. Things as they should have been all along, since the 550 spyder.

This was already up 2-3 weeks ago, porsche has not given it a number designation as of yet so it's not a real 911.

Probably: to even the specs between the front/mid/rear engine cars....larger diffuser is allowed even if it means a rear engine base car can be a mid engine race car.

I bet they just call it the 2017 RSR (leave out the 911)
