I think he means that Italian dude "Pininfarina" who made some pretty cool looking cars, but he's no Ferdinand!! biggrin.gif

That's different. Would like to know more about it.

FYI the coachworks is Pininfarina.

I actually don't mind that design

I stand corrected sir it is "Pininfarina"

looks like a cross between a Fiat and a Ferrari

The soft drink dispenser in my local Chipotle is a Pininfarina design.
Just like there are Porschedesign watches, wallets and nail clippers there are /or were
Italian design houses that would offer their 'take' on just about any manufacturers car.
Google 'Tapiro' to see a great looking 914 6

I read the dash/ interior was very different as well. It is suggested that all of the instrumentation was down the center of the dash to the tunnel. Seats look much different as well. Would like to see photo(s) of the interior if they exist.

It's a Bertone design, not Pininfarina, discussed previously in this thread:

I'd have to say this is a pretty good looking car.
Too bad no one makes a kit for this....

Tapiro
Done in 1970.
The design still looks modern....would fit in with today's cars.
Even the wheels are interesting looking.
