More to follow in the next day or two. We decided to do a big promotion to help everyone that needs to complete their interiors.

We will have Carpets at $89 for perlon
Domestic at $120
German at $220

Add in the carpet vinyl 6 piece kit for $15

Door panels at $200 (this is a GB special not in stock)

The center early style cushion boxes will be $79 each!
The AP gage consoles $125
We have even made a wire harness that you can add in this option (I believe 73 on were all pre wired from the factory) These will be $65 with the purchase of the consul.
We even include instructions for where the wires go!

Speaker pods at $40 a set!

Also the door panels (smooth that are RS style are included)

As you notice I've had issues with a parts vendor that has not delivered items as promised. You can order from him and he may deliver, but we got tired of waiting and launched our own line of products. We didn't copy, but reverse engineered the OEM parts making improvements we are known for.
I've been threatened that "all of the parts we make they will be making" Really appreciate you stepping on the thread, but as you can see this is the character of the person we were dealing with. We have a perfect track record on eBay for the last two years . ( amity914 )our customers always come first mark not you . our interaction with mark has nothing to do with delivery . you have been slowly manufacturing our inventory and then you sell it with our name on it ??? and when we complain about your actions . you cry delivery or some other slander . when we tell you we don't want to work with you unless you change some things you pull this . we went into business with you because I was having serious health issues . They have been fixed after years of not even knowing what was wrong . sometimes wondering if I was going to die.. my health has vastly improved as of lately my two boys are doing most of the building . I now have the ability to market our own parts again and this is what you do ..? you attempting to undercut all my parts for what .. money ? all you had to do was agree to purchase your parts from us after everything we did for you .if you could not inventory them because I was in the hospital then you tell your customer it is unavailable not take there money and blame me then go to someone else to get it made ....

If you want to air dirty laundry fine. We have a less than perfect track record by far. We have had to make carpets 1st as we waited MONTHS to get from you. Not only did we make them, we made them better! Only because you could not deliver. We have had the same problems for other products with many items when we got them we had to send back to get "fixed". We were supposed to have been your only distribution but you sold stuff out the back door and we didn't even give you grief on that.
If wasn't until you started posting on facebook that you could sell the roofs "you made for us" for less than what others could I called you on this.

Truth be told I rejected at least 30% of what we got from you, and we paid a premium for them. We had to clean up the scratched roofs we got and spent hours polishing. I'll be posting some pictures of the few seconds that are saleable so you can see the glory of the work done. we finally had to bring inside to make them correctly,and complete our contract with our customers. We have had to make new tooling as the tooling we got from you was not usable.

I must say as a customer of yours I'm not happy. If any of your future customers have to put up with 1/2 of what I have, I'd venture a guess that they will be even more vocal about all the crap. Remember the reason I stepped in to help you. I ordered all the parts as promised, some got delivered some dragged on for months, but we stuck with you for longer than we should have. Yes I understand health problems, and yes we cut you slack, but at a certain point the parts had to be made, and you didn't make them.

You want to make parts, great, start your own thread, and stop taking a crap on mine!!!

truth be told you gave us crap acrylic on those tops . you formed them with a heat gun or a heat lamp or something (cheap) . and didn't even get them straight they was wavy as hell... we should have rejected 100% of them ... not a single one was formed correctly . we can make a perfect one , but you did not want to pay for it . you trying to make as much profit as possible is what killed that project . and if you say our tooling was bad , your wrong . our tooling was perfect after they have been sitting around for five years fiberglass molds shrink . you need to replace molds eventually . and btw your the one who came on talking bad about me and attempting to completely undercut me .

We (www.914ap.com) hired you to be a buffer for some real problems I was having . we opened our large customer data base to you and even gave you a product to manufacture your self... rubber products . we are the ones who took thousands of requests to build rubber parts . and when you came along asking me for advice on what you could do to make some money . I told you don't build other peoples parts make rubber parts.. I get a lot of requests for it . I wont take credit for how well you have done , but you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me ... I coulda told you to sell cat turds and you would have done it mark . I made the mistake of trusting you .... I can post other builders that have similar issues with you ... how about you post a pic of you actually making a part ? or working on your car ?I have hundreds of pics of me building parts and turning a wrench . my sons just told me that this is a waste of my time . and to stop this interaction with you . smart kids . they are actually the ones who told me to sever ties with you . you take care .

I'll forward the PMs to all shortly It was a busy day. I'll get better carpet pictures up tomorrow. But here's the progress we made today on these parts.
1st the AP consul for gages, and the wiring harness (which will be forwarded with instructions) Still have some more metal to cut and paint for the consul tomorrow. Be we should be assembling tomorrow. I have all 3 of us working on these so we are making very good progress and the preliminary test fits looked good. If anything maybe a little tweaking, but not that hard to make.

Got the box wood blocked out. Decided to go with a thin birch instead of particle board (like OEM). These just need to transfer a few cuts over and we can start assembly tomorrow. The foam has been cut for the top, and sleeve with pocket (unlike brand X) has been sewn in (like OEM). SHould have the 1st one done tomorrow also.

Since I jokingly busted your chops earlier in this thread, I just wanted to give you kudos for your products. Just opened my first order from you (seat covers and speaker pods) and both look fantastic. I guess now if the seats don't come out looking great, I can't blame the material Seriously though, I am really looking forward to seeing these inside the car, and at last have my interior FINALLY looking presentable.

I have noticed that the links moved as I didn't base them off the search feature (another great Godaddy function is that it scrambles the links every time you publish)

Did get the consuls down nicely. Good straight seams, I'm really proud I didn't have to pad the consul to get the bend to look correct.

Same glossy black for now. I did get word the manufacturer of this vinyl is making a change in backing that makes it stretchier, but is a shade more matte. Just a little, but for now I have about 40 yards so no problem.

To answer your question The Perlon is more of a "heavy felt" it has no real depth. It is very light, and is appropriate in the earlier cars. The domestic of a good choice for a daily driver, it's a nylon, but has a rubber backing. The black domestic is actually very close the the Black German. The Charcoal is ok in domestic has a loose loop. It can snag on the exposed edges. The Exposed edges are the ones under the carpet thresholds,as well as the edges under the passenger and drivers mats, so this is not a real problem, but I wanted to point it out.

The German is the Best we have and it's not inexpensive.

Yep, years of me listing stuff late at night and after a long day and not having the time to go through and straighten it up. I decided to concentrate on actually making the parts. Matt is working on the website and it can't get done fast enough. Unfortunately I'm making parts faster than he can keep up. Right now I need to get back to a few guys on the roofs and came into the shop today and the guys have been very productive so more stuff to post.
The Ebay is listed by Taylor my youngest and we needed to list with free shipping to up the ranking. Matt told him to do so, but didn't have him revise the price. So yes feel free to buy either venue. The new system will manage both and make inventory much nicer.

Finally getting to this. I've got about eight line items in my order, but the site would only accept two coupons. No worries, I just switched to "print and call" and will do that tomorrow rather than submit multiple orders and screw up the S&H.

Think I got PMs to all so far.
As far as the "sale" I have the codes good til the 30th. We will be reducing the prices on items across the board as we are making improvements and have cut out a middleman and are making more stuff in house. This will allow us to continue to product these and other parts at prices that are better than we have had to have.

Making serious progress on these have enough wood blanks to do another 25 AP consuls and some good progress on production.

Would you be able to do something like pic below with the even-spaced stitching on the plain black vinyl of the door panels? I'd like the vinyl & the badding panel stitched together. I can provide the angle and spacing I'd like. Willing to pay extra & wouldn't have to be on a group buy.

Is your price for the upholstered panels (from link above) for a single panel or for two? I was a little confused because the DIY kit for a pair was $208.00.

Yes no problem with the sewing on the panels. If you want to send a paper template we will replicate. It would add $80 to the flat panel cost (which is less than the textured).
Use the print and call option after you put the order in. This saves the order. The call Scott at 1-888-914-GUYS to have him note the addition and forward an invoice

I would like the German loop charcoal but it isn't the same price as when you initially listed it.

Ok. Bump and sorry I had to read through the drama.

I have been a big fan of yours from the beginning Mark. Many times you have phoned when there is a problem.

Order placed and the coupon worked at the end of the order. I just missed the field and panicked. My wife commented around the corner of the desk.....something like..." where is your faith....the guy is an airline pilot".....er something like that. Sometimes I don.t quite hear what she says....like any good husband.

Just an idea Mark....

The angle of the stitching on the door panels, if you were to slightly alter it so that it's parallel with the grab handle it would look SO much better from an aesthetic point of view and match the 911. Also a double stitch run on each line would be more OEM and look real nice.

You just start the first stitch line AFTER (to the rear of) the handle like Porsche do with the 911, there's no conflict then with the cubby under the arm rest. And keep it parallel to the handle.
