I am not getting any power to my fog lights, does anyone know any shortcut diagnosis tricks?
1. It looks like the fog light switch has power
2. All headlights work and all relays are clicking when hi-beams are triggered
3. Which relay is for the fog lights
4. I have put new bulbs in the lights
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Jeff
i have not looked at the scematics, but check the grounds. feed 85 must get power from the headlight switch 56. see if you can trace it from http://www.pelicanparts.com/914/parts/Electrical/914_electric_73A.jpg
the legend is from a '73.
Thanks for the response!
I have the full service manual with all diagrams and the '73 doesn't show the fog lights just the red wire 10 from he fuse number 11.
I also have the wiring diagram for the 74 (much easier to read than the 73), my problem is I dont know which relay on the board is the one listed in the diagram! My board looks different than the one shown on page 3.6-1/1??
Just knowing which relay is the one would help out!!
Jeff
getting to old to look at the scanned images, but the relay 53 should have a
1. white with a blue stripe jumped from the always hot side of fuse one to terminal 85
2. red with a black stripe to fuse 10 and terminal
to terminal 30.
3. i'll take a picture and post it in the am.
too cool!
Thanks for your help!
the one my thumb is on.
position on the board means nothing.
look for a whitish gray wire with a blue stripe and the white wire with the yellow stipe. that's the relay.
