Ok, looks like I need 1 P/C for the motor I just dropped. It was build by Fat. It is a 1.7 built to a 2.0.
How much should I expect?
Should I get it from Fat, or elsewhere?
Any tips on identifying or anything else to do?
Everything else in the motor looks good, #1 is just jacked. Still trying to mentally recreate exactly what happened to it.
Exhaust valve on #1 was too tight
Head stud bolt over #1 and too the back was loose
Piston lost material which has been redeposited on the head and everywhere else
Piston is waaaay wasted
Cylinder is worked because of wasted piston
#2 P/C looks good, still has cross hatch, etc.

Been talking to the guy at Fat and we have been trying to identify exactly what P/C are in this thing.
We have determined they are 96mm pistons and the crank is 71mm. They are flat top pistons with absolutely no valve reliefs in them.
I need to get a better clip removal tool, been fighting the pin clip with mine and haven't been able to get the piston off yet.
The guy at Fat says getting a single P/C may be tough, but I'm still optimistic.
Sound familar to anybody, or does anyone have a single that sounds the same?
Anyone want to buy a track car!!! $5k as is!!!

You might try these guys. I contacted them last week. They sell 96 x 71 "Keith Black" flat top P&C's for $349.00. Brad says they are decent parts. They are made in China.
