Entire collections going up for sale? idea.gif

I wonder if someone thinks asset prices are about to take a hit?

Time for a market correction? It happened big time in 1989 to collector cars.

Absolutely not.
I was lucky to drive a 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport on the street many times. One of 17 or 21 ?
A factory race car with fiberglass doors, Matter alloy roll cage, plexi windows, big brakes, shell seats, minimal interior etc. etc. .......what a ball !
I've also driven some pretty fast modified 930's
The 937 is the the most alive, neutral car I've ever driven.
And illegal on US roads at the time.
The worst part is that it was for sale for $ 47,000 for a long time.......

The 914/6 is the least valued Porsche in that Swiss collection? Interesting...

I like the 924 CGT and the 928 GTS but I would much rather have the 914/6.

Sold for 12k. They didn't do a lot of looking around on it like looking at the trunks, engine, or interior. 2 liter and late model but looked like it could've been a good buy.
