I bought a subwoofer box from 914 Rubber which sits in the passenger footwell, does anyone have any suggestions on mounting it?

Mine just sits on the floor, snug fit. Did you remove the original foam foot rest?

All of the original foam is gone, it fits nicely but isn't snug.

I have one not yet installed but I was thinking of holding it in place with Velcro. Easy to remove if needed. Also, adding quick disconnects for the wires.

There is a difference between the early and late foam foot rest. Curious if this subwoofer box is designed for the earlier cars.

Whatever you do don't screw in that area. The gas tank is right there. Ask me how I know z sheeplove.gif

I will check that out this weekend. I think I will try to velcro it then put the carpet over it.
Thanks,
Ed

I can vouch for Troy's. It thumps. Carpet doesn't stop bass, but it sure makes for a nice stealth setup! It's not going anywhere under there, so don't waste time with velcro or other fasteners before trying it.
