Hello - (Grüezi is swiss german)
I am from Switzerland and my biggest hobby is my porsche 914 to reconstruct and restore.
End of April I want to go with the porsche on a race track.
At the moment he is but tightly divided and in the paint.
There are still a lot of work.
Have fun with the look.

Great project ! Was the 914 originally sold in Europe or imported from the US ? And, are 914's becoming more popular than when they were originally made ?
Keep posting your progress..
today I put on new tires.
check whether the tires keep what the manufacturer promises

Very nice project. Keep the pictures coming.
Good for you...not many 914 enthusiasts actually take their car onto the track! Welcome to the World!
Tony
the car comes from California.
in Switzerland, there are a few converted 914. was when I school where I met someone who had so ein916 6 gt.
from there, it was a dream of mine to have a 914 and rebuild.

is this a geniune 914-6 or a conversion (47x29xxxxx or 914x43xxxx) ...?
Great project. Looks like it will be a blast to drive once completed.

Nice build.
Now your transmission begs for gold anodizing!
Wunderschoen! Please keep posting pics of your build.
radhof,
Hi from sunny Florida.
Very cool car you are building. I really like the gold anodized covers.
That 3.6L in a 914 should be enough to show who is the boss at the track.
I have a question: How are you going to register the car? I was under the impression that you could not do this kind of modifications to a car in Switzerland.
Please keep posting photos of the build process. We all love to follow along.
Great build.
Bill.
It is difficult to register the car.
Since the car was registered before 1974 and it gave original 6 cylinder 914 is it with single acceptance possible.
I have today mounted the fueltank in the porsche

Motor is installed and it runs - the gearshift to the gearbox is still missing - will change the old shift Rod tomorrow
54 days to race track

That looks really nice! It has got to be a very fast car!
Magnificent transformation. Congrats on a job very well done. Now go drive the wheels off it.
Very nice
It's too nice for the race track.
Adjust steering geometry today

The best way to enjoy that car is on the track. Try to keep all 4 wheels on the ground and enjoy!
Some pics of my near finished car!

very well done!
It's beautiful. I like the green emblems against the black.
Radhof that is just a great build, congratulations. Best, Mark
Muffler looks great. We need a sound clip or video of that muffler in action please.
I only have a video of the car in idle - a video in ride I have to do in fine weather

Is this the ultimate track car
Drive to track
Race at track
Drive home
Cruise at 100mph ?
That is very nice.
Charlie

Awesome build!! I also have the Martin Bott 915 in my car. Do you have any pictures of your shift rod?
