Greetings,
These old eyes do not have the night vision of years ago and I am wondering if there is any way of improving the level of illumination of the dashboard instruments. I have replaced all of the bulbs with new 1.2 w units with little improvement. I tried finding an LED replacement but have come up blank. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Try 914rubber pretty sure Mark has them.

2nd Tim. He did a great job.
I have seen Tim's work, he does a good job.
Depends on how much you want to spend.
I have the plug and play bulbs at 914Rubber.com
You folks are the best. Thanks for all of your replies. I am leaning toward the Carmagic LED kits both for our 914 and for our 912. Now if I could just find some LED's for our 356's, I would be very happy. Of course the 356's are still 6 volt cars. Again, thanks to all of you who replied
i bought Engelbert's bulbs (Carmagic) and am very happy with transaction and product.
Has anyone compared the Carmagic version of replacement bulbs and the 914Rubber replacement bulbs side by side for the brightness or final appearance difference?
I used Engelbert LED's in my 79 SC and the 914rubber set in my 73 914.
Very happy with both, I could not tell you if one version is brighter than the other.
Carmagic does offer a choice of Classic and Bright White.
