914World.com _ 914World Garage _ To the brain trust - is the the stock part?

Working on these right now as well as a few other goodies. But I noticed that some sway-bars look like there is a solid bushing. I'm sure these are stock as the drop link is conical to accept them. What are the variations on these???

901.343.783.00??

I have seen others list as one piece, but these are clearly 2.

Solid would likely be aftermarket. I can't say that is stock though....

I am pretty sure that is not a 914 part. Chances are it was added to the car with an aftermarket or non-914 (say, a 911!) sway bar.

All factory stock 914 front swaybars I have seen have a solid rubber bushing, there is a small metal sleeve in it though. Look nothing like your picture.

And the rears are nothing like that at all confused24.gif

Mark,
That looks like the stock bushing in the picture that was installed by a goofball. It looks like it was cut in half and pressed in from both sides. The aftermarket poly bushings are made that way.

Those are Weltmeister bushings for front drop links. One of very few Weltmeister parts i use. Much easier to install. About $20 for a set of four.
