Yes. They are on all 3 of my '71 cars.
It's an early car thing shades.gif

The lever than goes from the headlight motor to the actual headlight assembly....the lever goes through this brush that is mounted in the body sheet metal.
Keeps the leaves and trash out of the trunk.
If that makes any sense.

Headlight bucket area.

Should have the parts ready in about 8 days. The assembly isn't that bad for these, but I'll need to play with the process some.
