Cool car.
Surely very expensive to build.
But lots of great ideas in this one.

...Magnus could only dream about something like that.
Well that certainly doesn't suck - more pictures!!
Very nicely and tastefully done. Frankly though, it's all been done before...
I like the build. Thanks for posting.
WOW
Love it, nice write-up.
Cool car, just needs a tach and some seatbelts to be finished
Very Nice...
There has been a thread on the board regarding a "singer" level 914 build. This is as close to it as I have ever seen.
You can spend an hour finding cool, trick details on this thing. Did that at the last Rennsport reunion and this article revealed stuff I did not pick up.
Very cool 914.
love it; that's awesome
This was an awesome project to be part of, the craftsman at Kelly-Moss were a joy to work with because of their fabrication skills. I will post some progress pictures as the car was built. I will start with the chassis as it was when I started my part.

Yes, this has been done before. But this has many nice details, and also well executed.
I am in the process of personalizing a 914-6 conversion I purchased over a year ago. I can only wish to have the knowledge, skills, and resources to execute my car to this level.
Very cool car (my favorite color helps), and a very nice example. Well done.
Bill.
I wonder who they built it for? I could afford a car like this but then I'd have to live in it. And hire a divorce lawyer.
It was decided that the car would be a GT with a twist. there has to be over 100 hrs in the front bumper alone. Jeff Stone (Owner of Kelly-Moss Racing) spared no expense in the build. He had me source every part NOS if possible.
Wow, VERY nice build (understatement). Someday if/when I retire it from racing I may convert my 914R into a "shadetree" version of something like that, semi-streetable again.
more detail pictures of the front, I really loved the way Italian turn signals look with the orange. the hood plates and pins are exact replications of the originals.
The brakes are pretty much what you would find on a GT, Aluminum front with spaced 914/6 on the rear. Restoration performed by PMB. The front struts were coil over and the stock a-arms were swapped out for a 935 front set-up.
We were so busy that i did not get a shot of the engine before installed but it was beautiful, it was mated to a 915. The headers where all custom made with cup car muffler...that really made the car sound mean.
unfortunately I did not get as many detail pix of the interior as i would have liked. aftermarket blank door cards were sourced and re-upholstered. Jeff saw a car with plaid inserts and wanted the seats done that way.
rear trunk detail
I tried something different, used a 356 chrome hub cap center instead of the black with painted crest.
car was finished just in time to load on the truck to head out to Rennsport 2015
Wow, dream build, thank you for sharing detail shots!
I remember seeing at the last Rennsport Reunion, very nice build...it just screams unlimited Budget
Wow, stunning build. Do you have anymore pictures of the front oil cooler set up?
Very nice car- not sure I would have spent that time and money on just the trick front bumper (especially for those huge lights) but I guess when you own the company you can do whatever you want!
BTW, my son and I stopped at KM once on way to Road America- very impressive! And once when he was going by in his 993 they checked out his CEL which came on while driving from IA and didn't even charge him. I'd use them...
Thanks GMS for sharing. Just a great build, congratulation to Jeff Stone and Kelly-Moss Motor Sports. SKL1, in person the front bumper/light set up is just a beautiful match and the fit and finish is top shelf. Best, Mark
Love the seat material - I want to do that but in green for my 914. Great build.
Well at least I have a car that color,..!!!
Interesting nose treatment...
Very nice build!!
It is a awesome car. I was lucky enough to be able to spend a day with Glenn there helping doing some work on it last year. It was a fun day and spending time there amongst all those great cars was the awesome.
Very nice build. Thanks for sharing all the details.
Could we see more pics or get some more info about the circled "objects" in picture below. Especially the left on !?!? The right one seem to be fuelfilter, but the bracket looks very interesting.
Dang that is such I nice car, I keep staring at the pictures and wondering if I should buy some lotto tickets this weekend to reproduce something like that
Anyone else think it should have been painted Moss Green
Mega awesome car, top notch build.
Nice build. Does the model proudly.....
Wish my car looked that nice but I don't have unlimited funds or patience.
