Does the trim ring just pop off? I pry with a screwdriver. It starts, but puts up a fight. Should I just get more aggressive with it? I didn't want to chip the paint or mar the ring.
Loosen the bottom backside screw first and then pry gently apart at the bottom, mine doesnt take any force to split at all....
The ring rotates slightly counter clockwise like a jar lid after loosing the hold down screw. I have the round fog light.
