Has anyone used one of http://www.sierramadrecollection.com/911-930-74-89-/Transmission-Clutch/Main-Shaft-Synchro-Rings/Shifting-Sleeve-1st-Gear-Reverse-65-71-p16916.html idea.gif
Description is for 914-4 (1970-1971) but I was unaware there was any difference
for any yr 901 box tail or side shift?

Evil has used them, says that they're OK. I'm sure there's no difference.
The bird ($50 more) says OE which is bs.gif it's made RAUCH & SPIEGEL to me they're aftermarket. An NOS one easily fetches over 6 bills.
Evil likely has one in stock, if it's the same price I'd get it from him.

You could try a WTB someone may be sitting on a good used one.
