914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Apologize for asking another tire question

Posted by: Porschef May 11 2017, 04:21 PM

Search function is eluding me...

Is anyone running this size, and if so, can offer a brief critique/synopsis of their experience? I have a possible deal working, and would appreciate any opinions.

TIA,

Joe

I have them on my car. They fit well in stock Fusch.

Thanks Valy, I'm also running 4 lug Fuchs. I'm curious as to the rolling diameter difference. confused24.gif

195x65x15 is much closer to stock. You can use an online tire calc to see the difference.

Just picked up a new set of General Altimax RT 43s in 195x65x15 specifically as it is referenced as the widest of the three sizes recommended by the manufacturer. Drove the car at 55 mph plus to the top of Mulholland the other day and they felt more than grippy enough for my liking. driving.gif

agree.gif To me the small size looks a tad silly.
Ok if you're at an AX, but my personal opinion 'tarded on a street car.
185/70-15, 195/65-15 or 205/60-15 would be my choices.

Sorry, I misread the size in the title.
I have 195/65-15 so they are a tad bigger. Very close to stock diameter.
