I just got confirmation that another of our own has passed away. Jeff Tucker (jeffs9146) has passed away a week ago today of a stroke. He was 55.
Many of you may recall Jeff hosting one of the transmission clinics at his home in Discovery Bay.
Sorry to hear about this.
I will remember him tonight in my prayers and for his family too.
To young indeed.
Sorry to hear about Jeff. Blessings to his family. It sure is scary being an advanced member here.
Super nice guy, i felt a little sick this morning when i found out.

My thoughts go out to him.
Dang! I hate to her of someone going so young!
He was always a nice guy on here in our exchanges, but I never "had the pleasure".

Has there been a memorial services thing yet?
I'm very saddened to hear this. Jeff was a great guy.
That is very sad. We had worked together on several projects.
R.I.P.
Whoa... What a shock.
OMG! Jeff was a terrific guy. I was at his house when he hosted a BBQ/work party to get the 6 running in his car. Great guy and he knew these little cars inside and out. Condolences to his family.
Anyone have links or photos of the clinic they can post?
Not from the clinic but these are recent. He had recently moved his girlfriend in and they were quite a pair...

So much Porsche 914 knowledge is going away with each and every passing of the good guys, not to mention the friendships.
Godspeed Jeff!
55 is way too young. As a Jeff, a 914-6 owner and 65 years old, I say we all get out, drive our shared passion, remember him and be thankful.
Totally shocking news, condolences to the Tucker Family
Rest in Peace Jeff
Too sad, way too young. Most sincere condolences and prayers for his loved ones.

Mike Bellis mentioned Jeff's passing to me at the PartsHeaven swap-meet. Now that I've seen his pictures I can put a face to his name. Wow, I'm sorry and saddened. Goes to show you never know what's around the next corner. Rest easy Jeff.
Sorry to see him gone.

If anyone one here knew Jeff well, maybe they can pass the link to this thread on to his loved ones, so they'll know the 914 community is mourning his passing and has Jeff's loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.
This story upsets me....my heart goes out to Jeff's family and friends.....I never knew him or have ever heard of him, but those party pictures and water skiing pictures and porsche group pictures make him someone I would have been good friends with. The guy was living life like we all should....to the max!! Celebrating every minute.....and one of us 914 nuts to boot. I am 61....almost didn't go to WCR because of BS problems....made it and even more glad I did now. I didn't write just to write.....this loss is a big sign to me.....use it or lose it. All the best to our community and once again to Jeff's family and friends......I am sad but Jeff was obviously a very happy fellow.....good for him for being such an awesome dude!!

Not sure exactly where Jeff's family is at. If you recall, he and his family own Magic Mountain and some restaurants in the LA area.
I totally agree with Mr. Mueller! Surviving a life threatening medical event will add reverence to your life for sure. Stay lucky my friends.
This is very sad news indeed. My sincere condolences to the family.
I don't think I ever met him but the event of anyone passing that young just seems wrong.... I hope his family has all the support they need at this difficult time. Sucks...
I was just informed that Peter (0396) passed away from cancer a few weeks ago, and now seeing this thread about Jeff. Shocked to say the least - who would have thought, being a young man seemingly in good physical condition?
I never had the opportunity to meet Jeff face-to-face, but we were 914 brothers on this forum over the past 10 years.
My sincerest condolences to Jeff's family and friends.
Peter and I conversed on the phone frequently and I visited with him and his wife at City of Hope a few times. I was glad he was well enough to show up at my Lift Construction Party back in 2012.
2017 is turning out to be pretty fuch'd up ... also lost my oldest brother in February and my mom was recently given < 6 months
............double nickel is waaaaay too young
RIP Jeff . Man I've talked to Jeff a few different times. Great guy who will be missed. Truly sad news. My prayers to the family
R.I.P. Jeff, you are missed.
