If those Ferraris come along, maybe they'll draw the cops' attenton away from Slits! lol2.gif

I'd like to go if they allow crappy cars.

When I get through, I will be so fast I will be invisible to them so Joe can get the ticket in that slow six.

EDIT: I forgot to ask.....Will Suzie wub.gif be there and what are the track fees? cool_shades.gif

On a serious (?) note, Dustin does a good during the week business, and is doing this to build his weekend trade. There's a different group there every Sat or Sun am. Ricers, VW's, bikes, exotics, etc. He wants to get us in, and once a month thing sounds good to me.

Posted by: ewdysar May 12 2005, 02:14 PM

I'd love to come play, but this month, the last Sunday is a holiday weekend and I'm going out of town.

Is there some sort of reminder that can be set to go off during the week prior each month? If not that, can someone bump this message near the end of June?

one could use the events calendar function on this board ...

So how much does it cost to use the calendar?

I actually started to figure that out while typing the last response, but didn't want to lose what I had typed.

As long as I'm on a stupid question roll (I'm proving my 5th grade teacher wrong, there ARE stupid questions)
Is there a "914World.com for dummies"? I know that I don't know how to use most of the features that are available (see previous posts). rolleyes.gif

Alex, I'll take stupid questions for $400... the answer is "The place where all your stupid board questions are answered"... ding... "What are the FAQ's"

To answer your question, no.

It's like anything else. Just start clicking buttons and learn as you go. You're not going to break anything.

I'd be interested in it... but probably won't happen until June for me. Still need a clutch and no money after moving to a new condo.

So... unless I pick up a few private gigs for karaoke/DJ work soon... no twisty driving for me any time soon.

For some reason (I forgot why now) I posted this on another thread, too. This Sunday 9:14 am, a gang of 356's are supposed to be there.

Posted by: dekman May 25 2005, 11:50 PM

So your afraid of some little 356's Howard? Is this still happening or what? screwy.gif

Posted by: Howard May 26 2005, 12:51 AM

I'll be there. Kick them little bathtubs right in their bulbous asses! Long drive from Ojai. Think you can make it?

Oh, and bring Linda. She's he only reason we tolerate you biggrin.gif

Posted by: Brando May 26 2005, 01:29 AM

Hm... working memorial day weekend (print for barron's monday on sunday eve, and journal for tuesday on monday eve).

Maybe the end of June? -- Calabasas... will my car even make it that far of a drive? Hello, triple-A? Yes, I need a tow..."

Aren't they supposed to show up at 3:56?

That's one reason I bought a 9:14 instead. I was never much of an early riser.

Howard, Linda is going east sunday morning for a nephew's graduation...sorry. So......I guess I can't come without her? (My mom's funeral was monday and my ex-mother-in-law passed yesterday...one sad week for me and my kids=two grandma's in one week.) sad.gif

Posted by: Howard May 26 2005, 08:14 AM

Rob, tough stuff. Knew your mom was ailing for a while. Come if you can and I'll buy you a cup of decaf, or whatever healthy stuff you ingest.

Posted by: ematulac May 26 2005, 10:30 AM

Sounds like fun ... can't make it this Sunday though. Got plans for the long weekend with the family. If it's gonna happen every month then maybe I could join you guys the next time around.

Make it a regular SoCal 914Club event. We need something like that. smile.gif

Posted by: dekman May 26 2005, 11:41 PM

I'll try Howard....9:14 AM right? smile.gif
