LN/JE 3.4 to 3.8L JE pistons for a 996

Please tell me the stock piston is rotated 90 degrees to the JEs

Good eye, the piston has a rod on it I just hung it over the edge of the box. On the 996 three of the piston/rods come out together.
Too lazy to dig through the box for a piston without a rod.
