914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Wevo Tranny Mounts

Posted by: CptTripps May 14 2005, 06:00 AM

I won that pair of Wevo Trans mounts at WCC, and was thinking of dropping them in today. Anyone else using them? Worth the effort? Easy install?

I'm going to be replacing my Prop-valve today, so I thought while I had the rear wheels off, I may as well pop these in if it's not too difficult.

Thanks for the feedback!

I haven't installed Wevo mounts, but I did fit some 911 "sport" mounts last week in my car. Took about 20 minutes. Real simple.

If your old tranny mounts are weak, or broken like mine were, you're in for a big surprise the next time you drive it. biggrin.gif

i one a set too doug, and i installed them at the hotel. they are a nice solid feel but dont let that much vibration thru. just make sure you get them all the way back on the tranny ears, on of mine slipped off, granted i lost a bolt on the body side first but you will like them
